Minimalist Abstract

Well, I've been through many techniques lately in my quest for an artistic style of my own. This work is one on my road to enlightenment.

I've tried to keep the composition as simple as possible and use texture and colour for impact. Don't know if it works or not. Perhaps I should put it aside for a while and bring it out again after a few weeks.

I think the detail photos are a little out of focus, will redo them later.

    Jo - have to agree the colors particularly in the Detail 1 - are fantastic - this is the beauty of photography you can get hold of bits that you love!
