While I said I would probably do collage, I have so many 'irons in the fire' that I will probably mix it up a bit.
This week's colour is 'blue'... so where do I start?
Collage?...
Moon Fish |
Painting?...
Big City Blues |
...or jewellery?
Fused Glass Pendant |
Of course I could have added a digital image, etc., etc., and so forth... but you have to stop somewhere.
Oh Joe! I am all smiles - and sincerely touched and excited that you have been inspired to create all of these beautiful blue pieces - they are simply stunning. I love all the texture and bold color - and your Big City Blues painting really struck me - it is JUST gorgeous! We are lucky to have such a talented artist joining us.
ReplyDeleteSorry if this first week is a bit confusing ;). The goal for this week is to link your project ideas for the event - and you can link this post to the blue week as of Monday. We will start the blue blog hop and blue giveaway prizes will be shown then. Thanks again for everything, Kristin xo
Sorry I misspelled your name JO! Dugh . . . xoxo

Ella... Welcome and thanks.
Luthien... We do like our colour here on the Sunshine Coast. It's winter here now so forget the bikini if you're planning a trip.
Hi Jo - I think I've seen you participating at PPF and now I see you're joining Summer Color too. I'm also using both groups to help keep me motivated and encouraged by all the talented artists out there.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing more of your gorgeous art over the summer.
LOVE that painting in particular!!!! What a nice way to organize work - color. Blue this week, eh?
ReplyDeleteWelcome Terrie... Extra motivation is always helpful. Lucky you... I should rename it 'Winter' of Colour. It's cold in this part of the world. Lucky you.
