Stawberry & Lemon Ice-cream

Doesn't that sound yummo!  Good on Kristin of Twinkle Twinkle for making week four's Summer Of Colour challenge this flavour.  If only I knew where to buy it.

My contributions in these colours are:

Heliconia
This photo was taken in my garden. The heliconias run wild and I often have to remove most of themThen they're off again.

Am still doing ATC's, but slowing down on production.

Yellow Flowers

Then we have a digitally enhanced photo from our local show (or 'fair for those from the other side of the world)...

... and last, but not least, a mixed media painting on canvas.

Summer

If you want to see how more creative people have used this palette, head on over to the Summer Of Colour page...HERE.

Lots to see.

  1. (Hi again!)
To answer your question: I have taken all of the ice creams from Baskin Robbins (otherwise known as 31 flavors) - they are a really well known chain of ice cream stores here in the US - and I happen to have a store really close by. The thing is, I thought with all of the flavors that it would be really easy to choose 6 different color schemes, but it turns out the only way to really get that is through their colorful sherbet options!
    Thanks for playing, xoxo

  2. Hi Jo!
Oh, it's Tuesday already in Australia. We still have 2 hours til we reach it too.
I love the mantra you have choosen in the right margin.

Great flowers those heliconia. Is this how they bloom now?

    Enjoy your day!- FM

  19. Jo, you've outdone yourself - there's quite a variety here and they all use colors that I thought would be hard to work with (plan on doing mine tomorrow on my holiday -the 4th-) I'm hoping inspiration strikes while I sleep! :) Or, I might just visit here again for the extra little nudge of creativity! that's one great collage piece btw!
