HOPE

This the theme for the 2017 Apron Project.  Run by Sallianne McClelland (events manager extraordinaire) the project invites artists to decorate aprons for a charity auction to benefit the Hornsby Kuring-Gai Women's Shelter in Sydney.

This is my apron for 2017: Hand painted with collaged felt butterflies and the sentiment printed on fabric.

2017 - HOPE

All the aprons can be seen, and bid for, online at Galabid. There are some amazing pieces!  Registration is free.

This is my third year of participation, and I hope I can do so each year.

  3. This year's apron is just fabulous. Rather different from your usual mixed media art. I love all your aprons, and think you are such a dear for donating to this worthwhile charity.
