Believe it or not I AM working....on lots of projects at a time. This is one of them. As you can see my studio is full of stuff...too much in fact...but it's where I feel most comfortable.
On the easel is my painting 'Firefront'..a heavily impastoed surface. Detail below:
I'll have to take a better photo.
Jo, this is a really intriguing piece; I love the textured surface, and the colors and composition as well!ReplyDelete
You are one organized lady - after my own heart! This piece looks aptly named because as soon as I saw it I thought volcano, raging fire, etc. It looks amazing!ReplyDelete
Much more organised than I am, this certainly looks like a raging fire.ReplyDelete

Amazing painting Jo-I can feel all the energy!! Perhaps one day I'll get the courage to work "big"...ReplyDelete
Lots of energy flowing there Jo. I love he peeks of what I am seeing on the side lines too. You have been busy. xoxReplyDelete
Your studio looks like a happy place full of good stuff!ReplyDelete
That size canvas seems an extra challenge to me...
that and working in the abstract :)
It really glows!
Well organized stuff! Love the piece just dripping with colour and texture!ReplyDelete
Wow. Big, strong, bold painting. Gorgeous. And I love seeing your studio... You've got a terrific space!ReplyDelete
The Fire Front is so full of drama and energy, you look like you have a comfy well stocked and super busy spot to create, ok wasted enough of your time methinks, better let you get back to painting :)ReplyDelete
Hi energy, bold painting! Know what you mean about "too much stuff" in your studio. Paring down myself.ReplyDelete
Looks like a nice picture. Well done.ReplyDelete
Thank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
That's beautiful, loving the texture and color and I see lots of interesting art laying out to dry. :) I'm paring done myself, going to get rid of most of my rubber stamps. I just don't use them anymore. Just keeping my background stamps. Take careReplyDelete
What an amazing piece of art you have created. It has a very strong feel to it. I am just hoping back in to my blogging and wanted to see all you are doing. I feel so fortunate to have received a few of your works on the trades at Paper Traders and cherish them very much. Thanks for sharing your gifts and treasure. Look forward to many more.ReplyDelete
JM - love the texture and vibrant colours of this work. Go well. BReplyDelete
