Back in the saddle again...

...not that I've had such a non-arty time.  I sneak the odd moment in between festivities.

Have been working on collages for the 17th International Collage Exchange.

I tend to move between 'cut and paste' (usually on a painted background).....

The Offering

The Admirer a more 3D technique....

Las Profundidades (The depths)
....and there's more to come.

  1. ooooh these are utterly fantastic Jo!!! The last one is my favorite with its ocean colors and theme. Good to hear from you again:)

  2. Nice work. You always create the best collages Jo. xox

  3. Always exciting to see your artwork Jo!
The last piece spoke to me extra much.
Happy Weekend to you and yours ♥

  4. Gorgeous as usual. All this AND Jane's're a busy lady. As always, I love your textural, dimensional collages - Detritus and Chained to the Past are just a fabulous use of unusual materials. So very cool! Hope you're staying cool and enjoying your pool this summer!

  5. Hi JM - good to see you are back into it - continue to create well. B

  6. I can't believe how much of your art I've missed and how late I am visiting. You are always so good about visiting me, and I've really been a slacker. I was most impressed with the 3-D mixed media pieces, but I truly enjoy anything you create. I'm looking forward to seeing even more of your entries to this year's International Collage Exchange.

  7. oh my! each one better than the last.

  8. Your 3D collages are wonderful! Love the green in Bilas. The last one is my fav.
